Federal Research Institutes (IFR)
The role of Federal Research Institutes is to group research units together under broad common themes in order to create european scale groups and to enable easier joint management of infrastructures, equipment and facilities.
Montpellier SupAgro is involved in four IFRs :
- Mediterranean and Tropical Continental Biodiversity ( BIODIVERSITE)
- Genomics and integrative plant biology (GBIP)
- The Mediterranean Research Institute for water ad the environment (ILEE)
- The functioning and management of mediterranean and tropical ,natural and cultivated eco-systems (ECOSYSTEMES)
