Bachelor Degree (in french)
Vocational degree: Wine trade and quality marks
Training aims :
This degree was initiated in response to a need to develop sales of wine for the wine industry in Languedoc Roussillon, in different distribution channels. It fits with the quality mark framework in wine markets in France and Europe. The performance of wine producers is in fact in direct correlation with the strategies in place to promote individual brands and those of the terroir. The development of quality in all its forms in viticulture appears to be a priority in the future in order to have an increasing influence on the international market.
On this course you will learn how to master the techniques of sales/marketing knowing how to promote the quality marks and talk through a wine tasting session.
You will study the channels for sales: direct sales, traditional retail channels (wine shops and wholesalers), the catering industry, organised food distributors (wholesalers and supermarkets) horeca (restaurants and hotels) and the export market.
This course provides up to date training for an industry where technical, economic and commercial aspects are evolving rapidly.
