Head director
Montpellier SupAgro is overseen by the General Director of Teaching and Research of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAP). The school has a large amount of autonomy in how it delivers teaching, research, training, recognition of prior knowledge, research issues, pressure for innovation, creation of businesses, and sharing of scientific and technical knowledge.
The Director of the school works closely with his immediate management team.; he is also supported by five statutory committees. Their individual roles put together cover the full range of the school’s activities.
Two of these committees: the administrative committee, the teaching and learning committee have student representation.
The elections for student delegates take place during the first semester and all students are encouraged to exercise their rights as a citizen by voting.
