UMR
The Associated Joint Research Units (UMRs, “Unités Mixtes de Recherche Associées”) in which Montpellier SupAgro’s teachers and researchers work, cover nearly all of the scientific fields taught at the school. This wealth and diversity allow the school to maintain a wide range of high-level scientific skills and fosters a multidisciplinary culture.
The research activities developed by Montpellier SupAgro’s institution fall within the scope of the UMRs’ scientific projects, which are defined collectively.
UMT
New features introduced in 2006, the Associated Joint Units Technologies (UMT, Unités Mixtes Technologiques) revolve around a common project between research and development conducted over a period of 3 or 5 years renewable.
