Most of agronomy engineering students at Montpellier SupAgro go abroad at least once during their course. They either take part in a work placement or in training validated by SupAgro or the university via the ECTS system. For example, some agronomy engineering students go abroad in their third year, but the majoritygo abroad in the second year of the course during the options session in the second semester. In addition the students who decide to spend a year on rotation will usually spend part of this year abroad.

If you are a SupAgro student you can get financial help to enable you to go abroad. The school, the Ministry of Agriculture, the European Union and other government bodies offer a range of funding of which you may be able to take advantage.
