Montpellier SupAgro supports the development of new training courses and courses that are better suited to professional needs in a number of establishments in developed and developing countries.
Montpellier SupAgro in Latin America
Partnership with the University Centroamericaine de Managua (UCA) with the Maestria en desarrollo rural
This academic cooperation programme underway since 2000 focused on renewing the UCA’s engineering courses. In 2005, a new dynamic was launched with the construction and implementation of a maestria in rural development with Montpellier SupAgro’s Institut des régions chaudes acting as a partner.
Montpellier SupAgro in Africa
Partnership with the ENEA in Dakar, Senegal (École Nationale d’Économie Appliquée)
Based on highly complementary skills sets and common shared values when it comes to rural and local development, the partnership between Montpellier SupAgro’s IRC and ENEA aims to:

Help meet vocational needs, joint educational paths in line with the Institut des régions chaudes's ADR Master's corse and ENEA's Master's course

Contribute to capacity building in connection with changes in the labour market and development professions

Help strengthen the link between training and development through educational engineering actions that call on a systemic approach to rural milieus (teaching method exchange and sharing, and learning in the field).
Montpellier SupAgro in Asia
Parthnership with the Kasetsart University (KU) in Bangkok
In Thailand, a teaching and research partnership with Kasetsart University. Numerous projects show the vitality of these exchanges:

Double diploma KU Bachelor’s / SupAgro Vocational Bachelor’s,

Project for a joint Master’s in rubber tree farming combined with a research programme on optimising natural rubber productivity,

Expert exchanges with an aim to networking French and Thai research on hevea and natural rubber,

Project to establish a partnership skills centre (PSC) including French research centres such as IRD, CIRAD and INRA allied with Thai research institutes and universities: Rubber Research Institute DOA, Prince of Songkla University, Mahidol University.
